I just love this poster from Burning Through Pages, a non-profit organization in Denver that helps kids join or launch book clubs in their communities. I was a huge reader as a kid, granted 50% of what I read was comic books, but I probably read hundreds a month.
Burning Through Pages Inc. has one single goal: “To inspire a love of reading in today’s youth by recommending, donating, and discussing books.” Anything to get kids into reading gets a massive thumbs up from me. So hats off to all the volunteers at BTP; you guys rock.
Support Burning Through Pages today, because a world without passionate readers isn’t worth writing home about.

I love this! It’s so true. I’m living proof!

Hah. Glad to hear it!
I think reading starts at home. If more parents read to their children when they are babies, by the time a child is old enough to hold a book, they will start turning pages and enjoy looking at them. When they are reading age a book to read will be fun. I can’t live without books.
I agree 100%, Rudee! Well said.
